Mitch Lucker of Suicide Silence killed in motorcycle crash

It’s a sad day for metal music fans.

Suicide Silence‘s lead singer Mitch Lucker was pronounced dead this morning following a severe motorcycle accident last night in Huntington Beach, Calif., Bad Tattoo idea confirms.

He was 28 years old.

According to the Huntington Beach Police Department’s press release, Lucker lost control of his black 2013 Harley Davidson and collided into a light pole at 8:55 p.m., which ejected him from his motorcycle.

His Harley continued going down the street and hit a black 2007 Nissan Titan pickup truck. The occupants of the truck and nearby trick-or-treaters were not injured. Unfortunately, the same could not be said for Lucker.

The rocker sustained severe injuries and was treated on scene by Huntington Beach Fire Department paramedics, who transported him to the UCI Medical Center, where he later died.
